At its discretion 利记sbo 可以 释放, without the written consent of the student, those items specified as "directory information" in accordance with the provisions of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). 目录信息 is defined as information contained in an education record of a student that would not generally be considered harmful or an invasion of privacy if disclosed. Designated directory information at 利记sbo includes, but is not limited to, the following:

目录 information 可以 be 释放d without the written consent of the student unless the student has filed the FERPA同意表格. 利记sbo 可以 not disclose or confirm directory information without the student's written consent if the student's social security number or other non-directory information is used alone or combined with other data elements to identify the student.

Prior consent is not required to disclose personally identifiable information:

• To "school officials" who have a "legitimate educational interest" in the student". 在一般情况下, a school official has a "legitimate educational interest" if the official needs to review an education record in order to fulfill his or her professional responsibility to the University. Records should be used only in the context of official educational business.
• To another institution to which a student seeks or intends to enroll.

• To parents of a student under the age of 21 who has committed a drug or alcohol related offense.
